New York Fashion Week Spring 2010 Ready to Wear Part Two!

There are so many wonderful designers to choose from and not enough time! The next few shows from Sunday really had a wow factor! A few favorites and a few newbees here on Clothes Line Finds.

Herve Leger

Loved this whole collection full of skin tight mini dresses in unique and inspiring prints. Beiges, blacks and whites have been popular so far this season but this is a breath of fresh air. The way the dresses are cut and the unique fabrics work together to create a young and powerful line of body hugging, look at me dresses!

Erin Fetherston

This collection came complete with magnificent head wear. The garments were delicate, perfectly tailored and paired with gorgeous jewelry. The sheer fabrics were often cinched at the waist with jewel clasps that looked like broaches.

Derek Lam

Loved the pop of this collection. Full of strong lines and striking colors. I jumped for joy at the defined structure and great cuts! Body suits, floral prints and ruffled skirts were big here.

Christian Siriano

I will always be a fan of Christian Siriano's work. He produced another magnificent collection this season that included a series of spectacular hats. There were day time pieces, cocktail minis and elegant evening gowns. Christian knows how to take risks and make beautiful garments that everyone can't wait to get their hands on!

Chado Ralph Rucci

This was not just any black and white collection! It featured elegant lines, sheer fabrics and cuts that would flatter any body! The skirt lengths were all around knees but no less sexy. Sheer fabrics, strong but subtle shoulders and accentuated waists gave the collection a elegant vintage feel.

Band of Outsiders

No runway for band of outsiders this year but the collection was playful and featured some cool day wear pieces. It's great to see a mix of male and female models. Rolled up jeans on men and women, great blazers and day dresses were highlights in this collection.

Derek Lam's collection was absolutely gorgeous. And I've always loved what Herve Leger does. Body con is hot.
